This new tyre is available in two widths 23mm and 25mm. In 2007 Zipp worked with an industry-leading manufacturer to develop the tyre casing and tread compound, but did not have as heavy of a focus on rolling resistance. For 2015, Zipp have taken everything they learned from Firecrest rim shapes and updated their tyre technology to not only maximize airflow, but also optimize rolling resistance.
