The Khamsin represents the entry level wheel of the medium profile range but this is only in regard to the price and not the performance it guarantees.The design input for the new Khamsin received by the Campagnolo engineers was to devise a wheel with top level performance features reduced weight compared to the previous version and technological content of superior category while maintaining a competitive price.The Campagnolo R&D department (Campy-Tech Lab) worked diligently in this direction and the result exceeded all expectations. In fact thanks to the reduced weight (1873g) the use of straight-head spokes and the adoption of sealed bearings the new Khamsin is able to guarantee a level of performance and quality that normally belongs to higher level wheels.
