About The Bike Factory
The Bike Factory is a modern retail environment with it's roots in retail in Chester going back nearly 100 years. Originally the shop was Marstons in Bridge Street Chester who in 1937 received a silver plaque for 25 years unbroken service with Raleigh Industries Limited
It goes without saying that in Olympic year 2012 we will be 100 years old. Not many bike shops in the country can say that
The bike shop changed in the 60's to Davies Brothers, a more specialist bike shop in Cuppin Street who built competitive bikes for racing touring and club riders
The present directors of The Bike Factory are all passionate about bikes and cycling and have been competitive cyclists themselves. They understand cyclists needs and are absolutely uncompromising about customer service and a good retail experience as are our chosen suppliers
We have created over the years a modern fun environment for all our customers whether they be experienced enthusiasts or new cyclists for health and fitness
Our business has long standing customers over the years and we have staff in all areas of our business so we can offer BMX experience from our younger riders to road and mountain bike experience from both experienced gents and women cycling staff.
Customer Service is our top priority and our managers are on hand to assist in any advice or dilemma
Our Service Department is one of the best in the country and we have recently been awarded a certificate for our workshop

All our bikes are checked over prior to a customer taking delivery and get a free service after 6 weeks of riding to ensure your continued satisfaction. Our Workshop manager has a real desire and commitment to service and prepares your bike or wheel repair in the best possible condition and our workshop is the biggest in the area.
We are official stockists for a huge range of bikes and accessories and have supplied in the past bikes to one off charity riders to cycling world champions. Our ranges include Specialized, Trek, Raleigh, Dawes, Pinarello, Brompton, Diamond Back and we offer a range of bikes to accommodate different styles and needs. As a result you will be able to choose from great selection of City bikes, Mountain bikes, Road bikes and Kids bikes all offered in store. We also stock a full range of cycling parts, accessories and clothing including ASSOS, Bontrager, Campagnolo, Sealskinz, Specialized, Park, Shimano, FOX and Giro to name a few.
We sponsor Chester Road Club and the Birkenhead North Cycling Clubs and local C.T.C Events and are involved with Triathlon and other events during the year
Our staff are members of cycling clubs and are members of the Cyclists Touring Club
